Space ... the final frontier.
These are the voyages of the starship
Enterprise.
Her five-year mission: to seek out new life and new civilizations,
to boldly go where no man has gone before.
The opening monologue in The Next Generation might be more politically correct, but it wouldn't seem right if I didn't use the original one.
Besides, this Enterprise has a more iconic silhouette than the Enterprise-D.

I love typography and all, but this one was way harder than usual to put together. Not only did I have a lot of trouble fitting the first phrase and 'starship' into their respective shapes, but I wanted a different lettering style as well and had to go through and stylize everything.
Overall I love the results, though. :3

This is a very good example of minimalistic yet creative typography. The letters taking the shape of the Enterprise look simple yet modern. The writing smoothly morphs into the shape that it needed to take, and little alterations to the lettering are subtle features that make the picture interesting to look at. The white coloring of the words also resembles chalk, which is another commendable detail. Overall, it is a very nice little piece of word art that probably deserves to be put in a frame and be hung on someone's wall, or displayed somewhere where people can see, due to being quite aesthetically pleasing.
