I painted a lot these last few days.
My family went camping near Malibu, and on Saturday we just hung out at the beach. I brought a small set of cake watercolors that I'd gotten for Christmas, and at the beach I used a plastic cup full of ocean water to paint this.
The pad of medium-weight paper I'd brought turned out to be pretty terrible for watercolor (bits of the paper wore off and got everywhere after just a few strokes), but it worked out in the end. The ocean water didn't appear to affect anything much, which was good.
And I still have no idea whether the paints are of decent quality or not. |D

The composition of this isn't very good, but it was fun to experiment with the different colors and lighting effects. I didn't do very well with the latter -- for a sunny day at the beach, this is pretty dark and gloomy in mood. But oh well! This is probably the nicest of the paintings anyway. ^^
